The Gradation Curve dialog box

The Gradation
create a gradual transition between two or more colors. This is where LCH color
system has its great advantage. With this tool you can easily change the
brightness and contrast without affecting the gray balance and saturation of an
image. This is because chroma and hue values are always kept constant.
To prevent the color images from becoming too light or too dark, ScanWizard
Pro provides a Saturation Range
given chroma range will not be affected by the gradation curve manipulation.
Dragging the top-
right section of
the curve below

diagonal line will
add shadow to
light tones
Dragging the
bottom-left section
of the curve above
the default diagonal
line will add
lightenness to
shadow tones
Click to create handles
from which to drag and
manipulate a portion of
the curve. The more
handles is created, the
easier and smoother it
is to manipulate the
curve. The handles
also allow you to
precisely isolate tone
areas that you want to
exclude from your
manipulation.
