LINCOLN ELECTRIC

detailed in the beginning of this manual.
PROBLEMS
(SYMPTOMS)
Thermal error 0036 is
displayed.
The machine powers up
properly but there is no
response (air flow or pilot arc)
when the output is triggered.
When the output trigger is
activated air begins to flow but
there is a very brief pilot arc.
The sequence is repeated with
subsequent trigger pulls.
If for any reason you do not understand the test procedures or are unable to perform the test/repairs safely, contact the
Lincoln Electric Service Department for electrical troubleshooting assistance before you proceed. Call 1-888-935-3877.
POSSIBLE AREAS OF
MISADJUSTMENT(S)
OUTPUT PROBLEMS
1. Check that the rear
brickwork is not blocked.
2. Make sure the fan rotates
freely.
3. Make sure the heat sink fins
on the snubber board are not
blocked.
4. Make sure the cutting
process is not exceeding the
current limitations and duty
cycle of the machine.
1. Make sure the air pressure is
set correctly.
2. Check the torch
consumables and look for kinks
in the lines.
3. Check for proper CNC trigger
operation if applicable.
4. The torch may be faulty.

is correct.
2. Make sure the air pressure is
correct.

kinks or restrictions in the torch
cable.
5. Make sure the work clamp is
connected tightly to the work
piece.
