Troubleshooting guide

Observe Safety Guidelines
detailed in the beginning of this manual.
PROBLEMS
(SYMPTOMS)
Major physical or electrical
damage is evident when the
sheet metal covers are
removed.
The main circuit breaker trips
when power is applied to the
machine.
No display after the power
switch is turned on.
No communication between
the Flexcut 200 and cooler.
If for any reason you do not understand the test procedures or are unable to perform the test/repairs safely, contact the
Lincoln Electric Service Department for electrical troubleshooting assistance before you proceed. Call 1-888-935-3877.
POSSIBLE AREAS OF
MISADJUSTMENT(S)
FUNCTION PROBLEMS
1. Contact your local
authorized Lincoln Electric
Service Facility.
1. Verify that the input circuit
breakers are correct for the
input voltage being applied.
1. Check to make sure the
correct three phase input is
being applied to the machine.
2. Check to make sure the
machine's reconnect panel is
configured correctly for the
input voltage being applied.
3. Check the 7.5 amp fuse
located in the reconnect panel.
4. Check the CB1 circuit
breaker.
1. Possible bad connection
cable.
2. Possible bad Arclink I/O

Rectifier (D4) Test Procedure.
5. Perform the 40 VDC Bus
Board Test Procedure.
1. Check the connection cable
and replace if necessary.
2. Perform the ArcLink I/O
Board Test Procedure.
