Description
Identifier register used to indicate
source of event, typically as a table
index.
String register, used for debug
information text bound with debug
traps.
Trap serial number register, used for
trap serialization.
Transaction commands are entered by writing (issuing a Set) to the transaction
command string object, nmsTransactionCommandString, in an allocated
transaction table entry. Transaction commands are listed in Table B-2.
The syntax used in the Transaction commands table is:

Transaction commands are not case-sensitive but their arguments may be.
Action
Locks device for exclusive use by the NMS manager initiating the lock.
Unlocks device from lock placed by LOCK command.
Forces a device to unlock, regardless of the lock owner.
