NMS 6700 MIB Overview

The NMS 6700 MIB contains attributes of the 6700 NMS Enterprise MIB. The
user can view and control the 6700 Series NMS via this MIB. The following
groups are defined in the NMS 6700 MIB. Refer to Table B-1,
Objects , for details.
NMS Administration Group — Displays the basic 6700 NMS location,
contacts, and community name read/write setup.
NMS System Group — Identifies the 6700 NMS workstation.
NMS Device Group — Lists all 6700 devices and hunt groups.
NMS Manager Group — Identifies all NMS managers.
NMS Test Group — Allows an NMS manager to request a test be performed
on a device or device pair. Refer to
NMS Transaction Group — Used to request that a command be executed.

NMS Report Group — Allows an NMS manager to request a report be set
up and run. Refer to
NMS Alarm Group — Contains a list of actions to be taken, specific to each
authorized NMS manager, when the respective trap condition occurs.
NMS Error Group — Lists the ten most recent SNMP errors for each NMS
manager with error type.
NMS Temporary Group — Used to define variable bindings and type of
objects contained in traps. Variable bindings in traps have OIDs. Refer to
Traps OIDs in Chapter 3, Traps and Reports Formats.
