To differentiate between the 6930 IP Phone and 6930t IP Phone, the Mitel shield
to the phone, handset, and screensaver to indicate that the phone is built from plastics protected
with the antimicrobial technology.

6930L IP Phone

The 6930L variant has the Bluetooth circuitry removed and so all associated features and capa-
bility relating to Bluetooth are not available. Any information within this user guide that relates to
Bluetooth wireless capabilities do not apply to the 6930L or 6930Lt variants.

6930Lt IP Phone

The 6930Lt phone is an antimicrobial version of the 6930L and has the following characteristics:
Does not contain Bluetooth circuitry and so do not support the related wireless functions. Any

information within this document related to radio performance or functionality only relates to
the fully functional 6930 IP Phone with Bluetooth capability.
Is built from plastics protected with BioCote® antimicrobial technology. The device features
•
plastics with surfaces that are treated with a silver-based compound that when tested against
certain viruses and bacteria is shown to inhibit their growth by up to 99.9 percent. The 6930Lt
IP Phone has a redesigned handset that minimizes crevices and holes that might collect germs,
dirt, and grime. The handset's smooth surfaces and hard-wired cord make for easy cleaning,
facilitating a more hygienic device.

are available by default. Contact your System or Network Administrator to find out which features and
