Connect a reference VBS or black burst signal to the GEN
LOCK IN connector to synchronize the SEG-2550/2550P
with an extemal sync signal such as a house sync signal,
etc. All equipment connected to the SEG will then be
synchronized with this reference signal.
The reference signal connected to the GEN LOCK IN
connector is fed out from the GEN LOCK OUT connector
(loop-through output). Connect to the gentock input
"connector ofthe equipment which should be-synchronized
-
with the same reference signal. When the GEN LOCK OUT
connector is used, be sure to set the 75-ohm termination
switch to OFF. When it is not being used, set the switch to
ON.

Connect to a good ground when required.

PGM OUT 1 — 3 connectors
DSK INSERT IN (downstream keyer insert) connector
(BNC type)
When the letters of the downstream keyer are inserted by
the SMC-70G/70GP microcomputer, and the color supplied
by the computer is used, connect the OUT connector of
the SMI-7074 NTSC superimposer or the SMI-7074P PAL
superimposer installed into the SMC-70G/70GP.

Connect to a video input connector of a black and white
video monitor (display monitor) to monitor the data and
information of the E-File.
[13] PGM OUT (program output) 1 ~ 3 connectors (BNC type)
Connect to the video input connectors of a video monitor,
VTRs, etc. The signals of the program picture are output
here,
[14] PST OUT (preset output) 1, 2 connectors (BNC type)
Connect to the video input connectors on the preset
monitors. The preset picture selected by the PST bus
select buttons are output here.
