Your Pbsma Display System is equipped with an
internal closed caption decoder also for digital 'IV
channels,
You can enjoy digital closed captions whenever their
services are provided, Digital closed captions allow you
to change parameters such as fonts and colors, How-
ever, some digital TV programs may provide you with
only conventional closed captions, If this is the ease,
conventional closed captions are displayed,
Activating the closed caption
Use the fellewirLg procedure to activate the closed
I Press HOME MENU.
2 Press÷/4, to select "DTV Setup", and tl_en press
ENTER.
3 Press +/4, to select "DTV Closed Caption", and
tl_en press ENTER
4 Press +/4, to select "Setting", and tl_en press
ENTER,
5 Press ÷/4, to select "On" or "On If Mute", and tl_en
press ENTER,

Selecting the type of conventional closed
captions (for digital TV channels)
Use the following procedure to select the type of
conventional closed captions. You will watch the
selected type of closed captions when the selected
digital TV program provides only conventional closed
1 Press HOME MENU
2 Press ÷/41,to select "DTV Setup", and tl_en press
ENTER,
3 Press ÷/4, to select "DTV Closed Caption", and
tl_en press ENTER.
4 Press +/41,to select "Analog Caption", and tl_en
5 Press ÷/4, to cl_ange tl_e selection, and tl_en press
ENTER.

Tl_e factory_ default is "CC-I ".
6 Press HOME MENU to exit tl_e menu.

On If Mute Shows dosed captions only while sound is
being muted.

NOTE
For MONITOR OUT, only conventional closed caption
signals are output; digital closed caption signals are
not output,
