In vehicles with front passenger display or
rear displays, the child safety lock for the
MBUX rear tablet can be switched on or off
via the Control Center. Further information on
the Control Center .
Select MBUX rear tablet.

Select Lock.

r: the lock is active. The MBUX rear tablet
is locked and cannot be operated.
s: the lock is deactivated. The MBUX rear
tablet is unlocked and can be operated.
System language
▌Notes on the system language
This function allows you to determine the lan-
guage for the menu displays and the navigation
announcements. The selected language affects
the characters available for entry. The navigation
announcements are not available in all languages.
If a language is not available, the navigation
announcements will be in English.
