(2) Pick-up unit delay jam
If the copy paper does not reach the
paper sensor of the pick-up unit within
a specified
period after paper pick-up-
starts, the microprocessor
will judge
that a pick-up delay jam has occurred,
and immediately
stop the operation of
the copier. Also, the JAM indicator on
the control panel will flash and a seg-

(3) Delivery unit stationary jam
If the copy does not pass the delivery
unit paper sensor within the specified
period after the registration roller clutch
operates, the microprocessor
will judge
that a delivery unit stationary jam has
occurred, and immediately
stop the op-
eration
of the copier. Also, the JAM
indicator on the control panel will flash
and a segment
of the JAM POSITION
indicator will go ON.
