Troubleshooting
@ No sound. (AM-M830 model only).
@ Make sure power cord is connected securely to household AC out-
let.
@ Make sure all connections are secure.
@ Make sure head phones are not connected to PHONES jack (AM-
M630 model only).
@ Make sure muting is not engaged.
@ Check station tuning.
@ Make sure amplifiers input selector and volume control are set
properly.
@ Make sure CD or cassette tape is loaded properly.
@ Make sure short pins are connected to PROCESSOR IN and OUT
terminals.
@ Bass or stereo sound is not reproduced fully.
@ Speaker system connections are not correct.
Make sure polarity of speaker connections are correct.
@ Continuous playback does not function.
@ REC/PB MODE switch is not set to CONT. (HX-M830W model only).
@ Cassette tape loaded in tape | deck has not been turned over (HX-
M630W model only).
@ Random programme playback has not been cancelled.
Press the CLEAR button to cancel random programme playback.
@ Direct search, index search or random playback
does not function.
@ Distorted playback or sound loss during CD play- @ CDis dirty or scratched.
