{ Press the TUNING < / > buttons to set the turn off

{ 1 Press the MEMO button to memorize the minutes.
{ Press the TUNING < / > buttons to select the TUNER,
CD or TAPE source.
The selected source's indicator will appear on the FL dis-
play.
i 3 Press the MEMO button to memorize the source.
When TUNER is selected:
Select the channel that contains the station that you wish to
listen to and then press the MEMO button to memorize it.
"PROGRAM FINISH' will appear on the frequency/mess-
age display.
When CD or TAPE is selected:
"PROGRAM FINISH' will appear on the frequency/mess-
age display.
1 Press the TIMER ON/OFF button until the WAKE UP in-
dicator appears on the FL display.
1 Press the POWER button to turn the power off.
When the memorized turn on time is reached the power will
be turned on and operation of the selected source will
begin. When the memorized turn off time is reached, the
power will be turned off.
To cancel timer wake up
@ Press the TIMER ON/OFF button until the WAKE UP in-
dicator disappears.
Data will be retained, but timer wake up will not be activated.
To reactivate timer wake up press the TIMER ON/OFF but-
ton until the WAKE UP indicator is displayed again.
Note:
@ Timer wake up can only be cancelled when the power is on.
Sleep function
The sleep function can be used to turn the power of all compo-
nents off automatically. The turn off time can be set at 30
minutes, 1 hour, 1 and a half hours or 2 hours from the present
time.
1 Press the tuner's SLEEP button.
The "SLEEP" indicator will appear on the tuner's FL dis play.
The turn off time will automatically be set for 2 hours from
the present time. If you wish to set a different turn off time,
proceed with step 2.
2? Within 5 seconds:
Press the TUNING < / > buttons to set the turn off
time as follows:
30 minutes from present time:
Set the turn off time at 0:30
1 hour from the present time:
Set the turn off time at 1:00
1 and a half hours from present time:
Set the turn off time at 1:30
The sleep function is now operating. At the designated turn
off time, the power of all components will be automatically
turned off.
To cancel the sleep function
§ Press the SLEEP button until the SLEEP indicator dis-
appears.
Note:
@ \fatimer recording setting overlaps a sleep function setting,
the power will be turned off at the earliest time set.
