Troubleshooting

You can eliminate minor issues on your appliance your-
Troubleshooting
self. Please read the information on eliminating issues be-
fore contacting Customer Service. This may avoid unnec-
essary repair visits.
WARNING
Improper repairs are dangerous.
Only authorized service providers should repair the ap-
pliance.

Oven door is locked and will not
open, even after cooling
Oven is not heating
Oven light is not working properly
Oven light does not turn off
Cannot remove lens cover on light There is soil build-up around the lens cover

Cause and troubleshooting
The door lock is engaged
Turn the oven off at the circuit breaker and wait five minutes.

Turn breaker back on.
2.
The oven should reset itself and will be operable.

There is no power supply to the appliance
Check circuit breaker or fuse box to your house.

Make sure there is proper electrical power to the oven.
2.
There is no cooking temperature set
Set a heating mode temperature.
The oven light bulb is loose or burnt out
Replace or reinsert the light bulb.

Tip: Touching the bulb with fingers may cause the bulb to burn out.
The oven door does not close properly
Check the oven door for obstructions.

Check to see if the hinge is bent.

The oven light is turned on
Press the oven light button to turn the oven light off.
Let the oven cavity cool off.

Wipe the lens cover area with a clean, dry towel, then try to remove the lens

The oven is too hot to start self clean
Allow the oven to cool before running self clean.

Always wipe out loose soils or heavy spillovers before running self clean.

If the oven is heavily soiled, set the maximum self clean time.

Clean the control panel an wipe it dry.
The touch keys are not pressed correctly
Press the center of the button.

Use the flat part of your finger.

If the power cord of this appliance becomes damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer, the manufac-
turer's Customer Service, or an authorized service
provider in order to prevent injury.
Only original spare parts may be used to repair the ap-
pliance.
