7.9 Sabbath mode
The Sabbath mode enables those of particular faiths to
use their ovens on the Sabbath.
About Sabbath mode - using the rangetop
WARNING
When using a blech, use only one STAR® burner at the
lowest setting. Using multiple STAR® burners might cause
overheating, combustion issues, or damage to the appli-
ance. DO NOT cover vent openings.
When Sabbath mode is initiated, the STAR® burners
¡
with the ExtraLow® feature are deactivated.
The standard STAR® gas burners without the Ex-
¡
traLow® feature remain fully functional.
The induction or griddle module is fully functional during
¡

Sabbath mode.

The standard gas STAR® burners remain on during a
¡
power failure.
The STAR® burners are equipped with a re-ignition fea-
¡
ture. The igniter will automatically re-light the STAR®
burner if the flame is blown out.
