Adding gear oil

Too little gear oil or poor-quality gear oil results in premature wear to the transmission.

Start the engine and check that it is oil-tight.
Finishing work

Check the gear oil level. (
Preparatory work
–
Stand the motorcycle upright on a horizontal surface.
Main work
–
Remove screw
S01147-10

Remove filler plug
–
Add gear oil until it flows out of the hole of the gear oil level screw.
Engine oil (15W/50) (
–
Mount and tighten screw
