Chapter 7: IMS VoLTE
Messages are limited to 160 characters. When the limit is approached, a counter displays,
above the Send icon, showing how many characters are left. If the limit is reached and the user
keeps typing, a new message is created, which is joined with its predecessors when received.

Enabling IMS Group Messaging

Access to the SMS settings are available through the SMS settings on the device. Preference settings
allow the user to configure Notifications and Group Messaging options on the device.
When and where to use:
Follow this procedure to enable group messaging on the device. This option is turned off as a default.
Procedure:
1 Tap .
2 From drop-down menu
3 Tap Sending to Mulitple Users as SMS to enable.
