Comparator Annunciations - Garmin GI 275 Pilot's Manual

COMPARATOR ANNUNCIATIONS

Critical values generated by redundant sensors are monitored by comparators. Comparator
annunciations appear by the relevant indicator. If differences in the sensors exceed a specified
amount, a miscompare annunciation appears as a yellow caution. If one or more of the sensed
values are unavailable, a no compare is annunciated as a white advisory.
NOTE: Operating the system in the vicinity of metal buildings, metal structures,
or electromagnetic fields can cause sensor differences that may result in nuisance
miscompare annunciations during start up, shut down, or while taxiing. If one or more of
the sensed values are unavailable, the annunciation indicates no comparison is possible.
