MANUALLY UPDATING DATABASES

Updating databases using a USB device:
1) Prepare a USB storage device with updated databases.
2) Insert the prepared USB storage device into the USB dongle or optional GSB 15.
3) After inserting the USB, a pop-up will appear prompting a Database Update.
NOTE: It is recommended to use a USB thumbdrive no larger than 32 GB. The USB
may not be detected for up to one minute after the GI 275 is powered On. If the USB
is inserted after one minute, detection of the USB and it's databases may take up to
15 seconds.
4) If No is selected on the pop-up, the update can be started from any page by opening the
menu and selecting System > Databases > Update > Update Using USB.

5) Select the Begin DB Update Button to start an update of any databases listed in the
table.
6) Select the More Info Button to display more information about what databases are on
the USB and GI 275.
