Setting the course in OBS Mode (with external GPS navigator configured):
1) Activate OBS Mode using the external GPS navigator.
2) Use the external navigator to set the OBS course.
Or:
From the 'HSI' or 'HSI Map' Page, touch the CRS Button. Use the Knob to select the OBS
course.
Or:
From the 'CDI' Page, touch the OBS Button. Use the Knob to select the OBS course.
Or:
From the 'CDI', 'HSI', or 'HSI Map' Page, open the menu and select '(Page Name)
Options' > CRS Options.
SUSP Mode
If automatic waypoint sequencing is suspended, "SUSP" will be annunciated on any Page
displaying course deviations ('ADI', 'CDI', 'HSI', and 'HSI Map'). For information on SUSP
Mode using an external navigator, see the current pertinent flight manual for that navigator.
Sync Control
NOTE: Sync Control is not enabled for ADI or HSI configurations. This feature is only
present for MFD and Standby ADI configurations.
NOTE: When this feature is not enabled, the CDI and/or Barometric Pressure setting
field will be independent and un-synced from the Primary system.
Enabling Sync Control from the 'MFD':
1) From the 'MFD' page, select Menu > System > Setup.
