To acknowledge a terrain pop-up alert:
» Touch the Close Button (returns to the currently viewed page), or
» Touch the Inhibit Button (inhibits alerts and returns to the currently viewed page), or
» Touch the Go to Terrain Button (accesses the 'Terrain' Page).

In addition to the pop-up alert and/or alert annunciation, the MFI may also give aural
alerts (the Terrain Proximity function does not provide aural alerts). If an external TAWS-B/
HTAWS system is configured, aural alerts may be provided by the external system. For HSI
and Standby/HSI display configurations, the Terrain alert will appear only on the Map along
with the "TER" annunciation in the top right corner in the corresponding threat color (Red or
Amber) depending on threat severity.
