System Overview
Enabling/disabling automatic reconnection of a paired device:
1) From any page, open the menu and select System > Wireless > Bluetooth Devices.
2) A list of devices is displayed on the next screen. Select your connected PED.
3) Note in the preceding image, the device by default is configured to automatically
reconnect (green annunciator is illuminated).
4) Select the Auto-Reconnect Button to disable the automatic reconnection functionality
(green annunciator is not illuminated).
Removing a paired device:
1) From any page, open the menu and select System > Wireless > Bluetooth Devices.
2) A list of devices is displayed on the next screen. Select your connected PED.
3) Select the Remove Device Button to remove the selected PED from the MFI.

1.9 DATABASES

NOTE: Databases cannot be updated while in flight.
Non-EIS MFIs rely on various databases to provide navigation, mapping, and alerting
functions. If any databases are out of date, the related functions may be degraded or cease
operation entirely. Databases are stored in the unit's internal memory. To view update
cycles, or to purchase individual database packages, go to flygarmin.com. Databases may be
updated from a USB drive, another Garmin LRU, or wirelessly through Garmin Pilot (Database
Concierge).
