keypad and select the Enter Button.

Select the Search City Button. Enter the city name using the keypad and select
the Enter Button.
5) Select the Activate Button.
Selecting a Direct To destination using the Map Pointer on the 'Map' Page:
1) From the 'Map' Page, touch the desired direct to destination on the map. If panning the
map is necessary first, touch and drag the map first to activate the panning mode; then,
pan the map as needed and touch the desired destination.
2) Select the ¯ Button. The 'Direct To' Screen is displayed showing the selected
destination waypoint and course information. If the selected destination is not defined in
the navigation database, the system will create a 'MAPWPT'.
3) Select the Activate Button.
Removing a Direct To destination:
1) From any page, open the menu.
2) Select the ¯ Button. The 'Direct To' Screen is displayed.
3) Select the Remove Button. Direct To navigation is cancelled and the Direct To
destination is removed.
Sharing Direct To Navigation from the MFI to Garmin Pilot
Direct To navigation initiated on the MFI may be sent to Garmin Pilot if the mobile device
running Garmin Pilot is paired to the MFI. Pairing instructions are discussed in the System
Overview Section.
