2-2-11 Monitoring Variable Values

Select Menu - Variable Monitor to display the Variable Monitor dialog box. The Variable Monitor dialog
box allows you to monitor variable values. The modification of values is not supported.

Additional Information
• For the TIME_OF_DAY and DATE_AND_TIME, the specifications of the controller support up to
nanoseconds, but they are processed by rounding to 100 nanoseconds in the Ladder Monitor.
• You can only monitor the variables that are present in the currently open POU.

You can move the dialog box by dragging the title bar.
Adds a variable to monitor.
Closes the dialog box.
Displays the variables to monitor and their current values in a list. If a
variable that does not exist is specified, the corresponding line is high-
lighted in orange.
The registration state of the monitor list is retained even if the Ladder
Monitor is exited.
Deletes the variable selected in the monitor list from the monitor list.
