Overall Procedures

The overall procedures to use the Ladder Monitor is given below.
STEP1
Setting License
The Ladder Monitor is an optional function so you need to set the license in Sysmac Studio.
STEP2
Creating Applications
Create the HMI and controller applications.
STEP3
Mounting and Wiring
Install the HMI and controller.
Connect between the HMI and controller.
STEP4
Checking Operation and Starting Operation on the Actual System
Download the project to the HMI and controller from the Sysmac Studio.
Additional Information
With Sysmac Studio version 1.40 or later, a license is required only when creating a new project
that uses the Ladder Monitor. In Sysmac Studio which has no license set for the Ladder Moni-
tor, the Ladder Monitor function can be used only when the Ladder Monitor function is used in
the project.
