Initializing the settings

This section explains how to initialize the memory and the settings of this machine.
Initialization is done to delete the data and settings saved in this machine and restore the machine to its initial
settings.
When you forget the admin password, the settings cannot be initialized.

Initializing network settings

The network settings will return to factory defaults after initialization.
 With this operation, all network settings will be initialized.

Check that "Ready To Print" appears on the display.
If the machine is in the power save mode, press «POWER SAVE» to restore.

Press the scroll button ▼ on the operator panel several times to select [Admin Setup], and press
«OK».

Input the admin password using the numeric keypad, and press «OK».

Check that [Network Setup] is selected, and press «OK».

Check that [General Setup] is selected, and press «OK».

Press ▲ to select [Network Factory Defaults], and press «OK».

Check that [Execute] is selected, and press «OK».

The display will return to the standby screen.

Initializing the flash memory

The flash memory is used to store form data, etc.
Follow the procedure below to initialize it.
 Once the flash memory is initialized, the following data will be deleted.
Data saved by [Save as shared job] or [Private Print]
