Intel® VMD for Volume Management Device on Socket 0/1/2/3
(Available when "NVMe Mode Switch" is set to Manual)
VMD Config for IOU 0/1/2/3/4
Enable/Disable VMD
Select Enable to enable Intel Volume Management Device (VMD) technology sup-
port for the stack specified. The options are Disable and Enable.
Hot Plug Capable (Available when the device is detected by the system
and "Enable/Disable VMD" above is set to Enable)
Select Enable to enable Hot Plug support for the root ports specified, which allows
you to change the devices on those root ports without shutting down the system.
The options are Disable and Enable.
JMD1/JMD2 M.2-C VMD (Available when the device is detected by the
system and "Enable/Disable VMD" above is set to Enable)
Select Enable to enable Intel Volume Management Device (VMD) technology sup-
port for the stack specified. The options are Disable and Enable.
South Bridge
The following information is displayed:
• USB Module Version
• USB Devices
Legacy USB Support
Select Enabled to support onboard legacy USB devices. Select Auto to disable legacy
support if there are no legacy USB devices present. Select Disabled to have all USB
devices available for EFI applications only. The options are Enabled, Disabled, and Auto.
XHCI Hand-off
This is a work-around solution for operating systems that do not support Extensible Host
Controller Interface (XHCI) hand-off. The XHCI ownership change should be claimed by
the XHCI driver. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
Port 60/64 Emulation
Select Enabled for I/O port 60h/64h emulation support, which provides complete legacy
USB keyboard support for operating systems that do not support legacy USB devices.
The options are Disabled and Enabled.
