Incorrect module configuration
The following incorrect configuration states of the ET 200S result in a failure of the ET 200S
IO device or prevent data exchange.
● Starting with 2 missing modules
● Terminating module missing
● Number of modules exceeds maximum configuration
● Rear panel bus fault (for example, defective terminal module)
Note
The IO device will not start up if one or more modules are missing (gap) and the ET 200S
is switched on.

Interruption of the ET 200S backplane bus
