Check the Connect Status Strings to ensure that the settings
are appropriate for your modem and application.

Make sure that the Dialin and Dialout Setup Commands
configure the modem properly for the application.
S Register 0 should be set to 1 or another nonzero number. When S0
is 0, the phone will not be answered.
5.
Dial the modem from another station.
6.
Verify that the modem responds with the correct CONNECT
message and provides a CLI prompt.
7.
Quit the modem connection.
