Troubleshooting
The following steps can be used to troubleshoot a port configuration:
1.
Configure the port for a dial-in modem and set the mode to
AutoDetect.
2.
Dial the modem using a terminal emulation package.
3.
When connected, press the
The modem responds with a CLI prompt.
4.
Type PPP at the Annex prompt.
The connection fails because you are not using a PPP package.
