7. Align the front prop shaft paint mark with the front
gearcase input shaft mark so the holes align. Install a
new roll pin.
8. Install wheel and wheel nuts. Torque wheel nuts to
specification.
TORQUE
Wheel Lug Nuts:
Aluminum: 120 ft-lbs (163 Nm)
Steel: 60 ft-lb (81 Nm)
9. Install the center console.
REAR PROP SHAFT REMOVAL 4 1000
Rocker Panel Removal
1. Remove rear fender flare and rear fender. (Refer to
Rear Fender / Fender Flair Removal page 11.19).
2. Remove the four Torx T40 rear door mounting

fasteners and remove door.

3. Remove two push rivets
two Torx T40 door striker fasteners

Note length and location of fasteners. Remove push

rivet from front of front fender flare. Remove fender
flare.

5. Remove two push rivets

fasteners retaining the rocker panel. Remove
rocker panel from the vehicle.
Console and Lower Floor Removal
1. Remove seats and rocker panels (Refer to Rocker
Panel / Console / Floor page 11.20).
2. Remove four Torx T40 screws
