Battery
This vehicle is equipped with a dry
type battery that requires no mainte-
nance.
Cleaning
Clean battery post with a wire brush.
Apply dielectric grease on post to pro-
tect against oxidation.
Removal
Disconnect BLACK (-) cable first then
RED (+) cable.
WARNING
Always respect this order for dis-
assembly; disconnect BLACK (-)
cable first.
Remove the holding strap then pull the
battery out of frame.

Installation
Reinstall battery in vehicle.
WARNING
Connect RED (+) cable first then
BLACK (-) cable. Always connect
RED (+) cable first.
NOTE: Place the BLACK (-) cable be-
tween holding strap and battery.
