Maintenance Port
The T2 card card has a DMB II connector located at the rear of the card, on the opposite side of
the I/O bracket. It serves as a maintenance port for developer access to the following ports:
• UART to RFSoC: This UART operates at a baud rate configured within the Zynq
UltraScale+™ RFSoC design, and can be used for software debugging of RFSoC PS
applications as required.
• JTAG to RFSoC: This JTAG chain to the RFSoC can be used for communication with the
Vivado
®
Design Suite during development for programming and debug.
• UART to SC: This UART operates at 115 kBd and can be used for querying the SC for system-
level information during development.
• SWIO to SC: This port can be used to program the SC if the in-band SC firmware update
mechanism is not implemented within the RFSoC.
