Explanation
The Internet BWA
System 3200 is
receiving an AIS signal
from the far-end radio.
The automatic
frequency control (AFC)
loop is out of loop.
The automatic gain
control (AGC) loop is out
of loop.
Tx synthesizer.
Rx synthesizer.
The temperature of the
unit is above or below
the safe operating
range.
The far-end radio is not
transmitting the correct
FAW (link ID).

Probable cause
Equipment failure.
Defective customer
equipment at tributary N at
the far-end. The far-end radio
has a Tributary N Tx LOS
alarm at tributary N.
The Tx synthesizer is
defective.
The Rx synthesizer is
defective.
The far-end radio was not
commissioned with the same
FAW as the local radio.

Action required
If the RSSI is identical to
the expected value, and
the alarm remains active
for a long period of time,
then a component may be
defective.
If necessary, replace the
ODU at the local site or
the far-end site.
Verify customer
equipment. Replace if
defective.
Reset the Tx frequency.
Replace the ODU.
Reset the Rx frequency
or replace the ODU.
Commission the two
radios to have the same
FAW.
