Malfunction has occurred in the digital signal processing circuit.
Check the digital signal circuit around IC400.
Using the shielding sheet metal as GND is allowed when checking the voltage waveform or terminal voltage.
When replacing the PCB or the optical unit, follow the instructions described in the service manual.

Is the lamp lit?
Is the indication by the LEDs normal after power-on?

Is the proper video signal inputted?

Is the image projected correctly?
Malfunction of IC400 or subsequent circuits
Check the voltage waveform of connector SB-
SC.
Check the video signal circuit around IC400
and IC4A0.
NO
* If the above voltage waveform is normal,
malfunction has occurred in the DMD PCB ASS'Y
, CW PCB ASS'Y , or optical unit.
Replace the DMD PCB ASS'Y, CW PCB ASS'Y.
Replace the optical unit.
Malfunction of the digital circuit around the
DVI input terminals

Check TJ, SJ, and FPCs connected

between TJ and SJ.
Check the circuit around J605, IC6U0, and
IC6L0.

Malfunction of the analog circuit around the
D-SUB input terminals

Check the video signal circuit around J600,

J603, IC600, and IC6A0.
Check the synchronizing signal circuit
around J600,IC502, IC503, IC550, IC560,
IC580, IC585, IC589, IC5A0, and IC5B0.

Malfunction of the circuit around the video
YES
input terminal.
Check the video signal circuit around J200,
J201, and IC2A0.
J200: S-VIDEO input terminal
