8. Removal of the lamp power unit
1. Remove the top case unit and terminal cover ASS'Y
following "1. Removal of the top case unit and terminal
cover ASS'Y."
2. Remove the MAIN PCB ASS'Y following "2. Removal
of the MAIN PCB ASS'Y."
3. Remove the duct fan following "3. Removal of the
exhaust duct ASS'Y."
4. Remove the cooling fan (lamp) following "4. Removal
of the cooling fan (lamp)."
5. Remove the optical unit following "6. Removal of the
optical unit."
6. Remove the terminal ASS'Y following "7. Removal of
the terminal ASS'Y and TERMINAL PCB ASS'Y."
7. Remove the three screws (a) as shown in Fig. 2-7.
8. Remove the lamp power holder as shown in Fig. 2-7.
9. Disconnect the connector (CJ1) on the lamp power unit
as shown in Fig. 2-7.
10. Release the one hook (b) as shown in Fig. 2-7.
11. Remove the lamp power unit as shown in Fig. 2-7.
Note: When replacing the Lamp power unit, follow the
"Procedure of lamp power unit replacement"
attached to the service parts.
9. Removal of the INLET PCB
ASS'Y
1. Remove the top case unit and terminal cover ASS'Y
following "1. Removal of the top case unit and terminal
cover ASS'Y."
2. Remove the MAIN PCB ASS'Y following "2. Removal
of the MAIN PCB ASS'Y."
3. Remove the main bottom shield following "4. Removal
of the cooling fan (lamp)."
4. Remove the terminal ASS'Y following "7. Removal of
the terminal ASS'Y and TERMINAL PCB ASS'Y."
5. Remove the lead barrier as shown in Fig. 2-8.
6. Remove the one screw (a) as shown in Fig. 2-8.
7. Remove the one washer (b) as shown in Fig. 2-8.
8. Remove the four screws (c) as shown in Fig. 2-8.
9. Remove the power upper holder as shown in Fig. 2-8.
10. Disconnect the connector (PB) on the INLET PCB
ASS'Y as shown in Fig. 2-8.
11. Release the two hooks (d) as shown in Fig. 2-8.
12. Remove the INLET PCB ASS'Y as shown in Fig. 2-8.
