SYSTEM CONFIGURATION

LCD CONTRAST CONFIGURATION

1)
To configure the LCD screen contrast, select CONFIGURA-
TION from the MAIN MENU using the UP (∆) and DOWN
(∇) arrow keys (Figure 34). Press the "Enter" button.

At the CONFIGURATION screen (Figure 35), select "LCD
CONTRAST" and Press the "Enter" button.
3)
At the CONTRAST ADJUST screen, use the LEFT (<) and
RIGHT (>) arrow keys to decrease or increase the screen
contrast. Press the "Enter" button to return to the CONFIG-
URATION screen. Press the "Stop" button to return to the
MAIN MENU.

AUTOPRINT CONFIGURATION

The AUTOPRINT function allows the Reader to automatically
print the test result after each test result is displayed on the LCD
screen. The Guardian Reader comes from the factory with the default
setting for AUTOPRINT as "ON". When running on batteries, you
may wish to turn AUTOPRINT off, to conserve power.
1.
To toggle the AUTOPRINT function, select CONFIGURA-
TION from the MAIN MENU using the UP (∆) and DOWN
(∇) arrow keys (Figure 34). Press the 'Enter" button.
2.
Select "AUTOPRINT" from the CONFIGURATION screen
(Figure 35). Press the "Enter" button to toggle AUTO-
PRINT on and off.
3.
Press the "Stop" key to return to the MAIN MENU.
TIME / DATE CONFIGURATION
1.
To adjust the date or time, select CONFIGURATION from
the MAIN MENU using the UP (∆) and DOWN ( ) arrow
keys (Figure 34). Press the 'Enter" button.
2.
Select "DATE/TIME" from the CONFIGURATION screen
(Figure 35). Press the "Enter" button to access the date and
time setting screen.
3.
Adjust the date and time using the UP (∆) and DOWN ( )
arrow keys. Move the cursor by using the LEFT (<) and
RIGHT (>) arrow keys.
4.
Press the "Enter" button to save your changes, otherwise
press the "STOP" button to cancel any changes you made.
