INTERPRETING YOUR RESULTS

1)
No test result is valid in the visual absence of a strong line in
the control area. If you do not see a control line proceed as
follows:
a. Retest the sample, making sure you are using a fresh
test strip from an undamaged foil pouch.
b. If the sample is very viscous (thick), dilute it 1:4
with Sample Buffer and retest. Remember that the
sample must be able to flow across the strip.
c. If you continue to fail to get a line in the control
area, call Alexeter for instructions.
2)
The visual presence of a line in the sample area indicates
the presence of the target material in your test sample. It is
strongly suggested that you retest in Automatic Mode. Call
Alexeter immediately if you verify positive results.
3)
The visual absence of a line in the sample area indicates that
the target material is not present or is present at a very low
level in your test sample. Always visually inspect all test
strips to confirm the Reader output.
