Checking the fork legs

Main work
-
Remove pilot bushing support
-
Remove 0-ring
Condition
The fork legs have been disassembled.
-
Check the inner tube and axle clamp for damage.
If there is damage:
-
Change the inner tube.

Measure the outside diameter at multiple locations of the inner tube.
Outside diameter of inner tube
If the measured value is smaller than the specified value:
-
Change the inner tube.
-
Measure the run-out of the inner tube.

If the measured value is larger than the specified value:
-
Change the inner tube.

Change the outer tube.
