Turntable Rotate Safety Limit Switch, LST1S
1
Locate the turntable rotate safety limit switch
(LST1S) at the center of the turntable.
Note: The turntable rotate safety limit switch
(LST1S) is located between the two operational
turntable rotate limit switches. It can easily be
identified by the orange and red tie wraps attached
to the limit switch cable.

Locate and disconnect the deutsch connector
to LST1S.

Connect the leads from a multimeter with
continuity checking capability to pins 1 and 2
at the Deutsch connector of the limit switch
cable.
Result: The limit switch should have
continuity.
Result: The limit switch does not have
continuity. The limit switch is faulty and needs
to be replaced.

Remove the multimeter leads and connect the
Deutsch connector to the limit switch.

Start the engine and rotate the turntable more
than 15°. Turn the engine off

Locate and disconnect the Deutsch connector
to LST1S.

Connect the leads from a multimeter with
continuity checking capability to pins 1 and 2
at the Deutsch connector of the limit switch
cable.
Result: The limit switch should not have
continuity.
Result: The limit switch does have continuity.
The limit switch is faulty and needs to be
replaced OR the mounting position of the limit
switch needs to be adjusted until it activates
when the turntable is rotated more than 15°.

Remove the multimeter leads and connect the
Deutsch connector to LST1S.
