Enabling The Data Port
Protocol
N-550B
The data port, located at the rear of the N-550B, provides interfacing
capabilities for:
•
printing N-550B data
•
displaying N-550B data on a computer
The data port supports two communication protocols:
•
Option 1 = real-time ASCII for printouts
•
Option 2 = enables communication with the external equipment.
Refer to the external equipment documentation for the interface
procedures.
Menu item 5 allows the user to choose between the communication protocols.
To access menu item 5:
1. Disconnect the sensor cable.
2. Press both the SpO
simultaneously for three seconds.
3. Press the Adjust Up button until menu item 5 is displayed.
