Removable Hard Drive Cage

To remove the removable hard drive cage:
1. Perform the service preparations shown on page 3-2, remove the workstation feet, and
place the workstation on its side.
2. Remove the following components:
side access panel
power and signal cables connected to drives in drive cage (if drives are installed)
Pull back the power supply air baffle 1.

Loosen the two thumbscrews that hold the drive cage in place 2.
4.
Slide the drive cage out of the chassis 3.

To replace the removable hard drive cage, reverse the above prodecure.
