DTMF SIGNAL TONE TRANSMIT SELECT
When set to ON (=1), the 12 keys and transmission
frequencies are as shown.

After performing this check, do not fail to turn the setting off. Otherwise, it will not be possible to dial using DTMF.

START
For each sensor's thermal head operation, refer to 6.5. SEN-
SOR AND SWITCHES.

Do: Document set sensor:
Paper inserted. Do turns on when a document is inserted.
Sn: Read position sensor:
At the read position. Sn turns on when the front cover is
opened and the sensor lever is pressed directly.
Co: Cover open sensor:
Cover open. Co turns on and off when the front cover is
opened and closed.
Pf: Paper full sensor:
Sensor on. Pf turns on when the sensor lever is pressed di-
rectly via the lower cabinet jam release window.
Pl: Paper set switch:
Sensor on. Pl turns on and off when the cassette lock lever
is pushed down and up.
Pt: Paper top sensor:
Sensor on. Pt turns on when the front cover is opened and
the sensor lever is pressed directly.
Ri: Film and sensor:
Sensor on. Ri turns on and off when the film end sensor
gear is turned.
Detection signal for the tone on the line. Turns on when
Vx: Vox signal:
there is a tone signal on the line.
When set to OFF (=2), the 12 keys and transmission
frequencies are as shown.
