Air flow loss to the Refrigerant Monitor optical
bench.
a. IFW to the chiller, MMR/MAR to the
Refrigerant Monitor.
Air flow loss to the Refrigerant Monitor scanner.

Refrigerant Monitor.
Out of temperature range for measuring
refrigerant concentration.
The Refrigerant Monitor read less than or equal
to -5 ppm refrigerant concentration.
A undefined diagnostic detected by the
Refrigerant Monitor.

the switch/jumper is missing.

concentration greater or equal to the level 3
setpoint.
The Refrigerant Monitor auxiliary input signal
indicates an alarm condition.
The Refrigerant Monitor has read a refrigerant
concentration greater or equal to the level 2
setpoint.
The Refrigerant Monitor has read a refrigerant
concentration greater or equal to the level 1
setpoint.
Safety string input opened on the Scorpio
module
a. A 30% Phase Unbalance diagnostic has been
detected. Items to check are the Current
Transformer Part Numbers (they should all
match), The Current Transformer resistances,
line voltage phase balance, all power wiring
connections, the contactor pole faces, and the
motor. If all these are OK, replace the Starter
module.
The SSS fault relay is open.
a. The motor winding temperature thermostat
opened; nominally 230°F (110 °C).
b. The motor temp. thermostat or wiring is open.
c. Time to trip from input open to Solution Pump
shutdown shall be 0.5 to 2.0 seconds.
