Cautions

The following cautions should be heeded at all times to ensure safe operation of the
ADTS.
Never operate the ADTS with the cover removed. The power
supply has internal voltages near 400 volts.
For each channel, never apply more than 120% of the ADTS's channel full scale as a
pressure supply. The pressure supply must be regulated and meet all of the criteria stated
in Appendix A of this manual.
Never apply more than 110% of the ADTS's full scale to the test port. Never try to
control while a pressure source is connected to the test port.
Do not expose the instrument to thermal and mechanical shock, or vibration. This may
affect performance and require re-zeroing.
See Chapter 1, Safety Information.

Powering Up the ADTS

Plug the power cord supplied with the ADTS into the power connector on the back
panel first.
Grounding for the ADTS is provided through the power cord.
Then plug the power cord into a receptacle rated for any AC voltage
between 90 and 260 volts. If a different power cord is necessary for your receptacle,
consult Table 1-2 for available power cords.
Finally, turn on the ADTS by toggling the power switch on the back panel. When the
MEASURE screen appears on the display, the front panel will be fully operational.
