The Model F24 as a Desktop Switch
The example in Figure 1-5 shows how the Switch can be used for a
group of heavy-traffic users that require dedicated 10 Mbps or
100 Mbps connections to the desktop. The Model F24 has a Gigabit
Ethernet Expansion Module that allows it to provide a Gigabit link to a
Gigabit Ethernet Switch in the basement.
