4.10 Lifting and opening the roller foot

(1) - Hand lever
To lift the roller foot:
1.
Turn the lever (1) all the way in the direction of the arrow.
The roller foot is locked in place in the upper position.
2.
Start the roller foot by returning the lever (1) to its initial position
or by using the pedal.
Information
After the roller foot has been lifted with the hand lever (1) and the
foot has been lifted, the machine can be started (e.g. for winding
the hook thread).
