Folding copies

Copies will be folded in this mode. Follow the procedure below to select the desired one from six folding
types.

0 Folding types: Z-Fold, Tri-Fold-in, Tri-Fold-out, Double Parallel, Gate Fold, Half Fold
0 Sheets placed on the post inserter can also be folded.
0 When using Double Parallel or Gate Fold mode on the machine with Folding unit FD-503 and Finisher
FS-521 installed, manually pull down the exit guides of the primary (main) tray of Finisher FS-521 before
starting the job.

Position the original.

Touch [Output Appli.] on the Copy Screen.
The Output Application Screen will be displayed.

Touch [Fold].
The Folding Type Setting Screen will be displayed.

Touch the desired folding type key, and either [Outside Print] or [Inside Print] to select the printed side.
– The printed side cannot be selected when Z-Fold is selected.

Touch [OK].
– To restore the previous setting, touch [Cancel].
– To release the Fold function with the current folding type setting remained, touch [Function Off].
The Output Application Screen will be restored.
