Copying non-standard size original: Custom

The machine usually detects the standard size of the original fed through ADF or positioned on the original
glass (Standard mode).
Use the Custom mode to specify the desired standard size as scanning area irrespective of actual size of the
original.
This function also allows you to specify/register the desired special size in 1 mm increments, and to recall the
registered size when needed.
0 Use [Full Area] on the Custom Size menu for small original that cannot be detected in Standard mode.
0 Special sizes can be registered in this mode. Registered size information can be utilized later for both
the original and copy paper size setting.

Position the original.

Touch [Original Setting] on the Copy Screen.
The Original Setting Screen will be displayed.

Touch [Custom].
The Custom Size Screen will be displayed.

Specify the desired scanning size.
– Selecting from standard size keys:
Touch the desired size key to highlight it. The machine scans the special size original as selected
standard size.
