8.1 Switch Block Settings

The BIOS password setting can be canceled through the switch block settings.
■ Switch Location
The switch block of the server is located on the baseboard ( "1.3.4 Baseboard" (pg.27)) as shown
below.

Always keep in OFF position.
Sets whether or not to delete a password.
ON: Deletes the password.
OFF: Does not delete the password. (Default)

• When setting a switch block, turn off the server and peripheral devices, and
unplug all power plugs from the outlet ( "1.4.3 Turning Off the Server"
(pg.33)). Failure to do so may cause electric shock.
