Hydraulic Reservoir

The primary functions of the hydraulic reservoir
are to cool, clean and deaerate the hydraulic fluid
during operation. This reservoir has a 25 gallon
(94.5 liters) capacity and an oil level gauge with
temperature indicator. It utilizes internal suction
strainers for the pump supply suction lines and
has an external return line filter.
How to Remove the Hydraulic
Reservoir
The work area and surfaces
where this procedure will be
performed must be clean and free
of debris that could get into the
hydraulic system and cause
severe component damage.
1 Raise the primary boom until it is horizontal to
access the anchor hook.
2 Close the two hydraulic tank valves located at
the main pump.
